Adventure training offers cadets a great chance to get to know one another and the officers on a far more personal level, which builds confidence and motivation.
Adventure training activities go on all year round and in many different parts of the UK. Over the Easter period a camp is usually organized when cadets take part in a wide range of activities from hiking, climbing and abseiling through to canoeing and caving.
Adventure training and camps away during school breaks are both a major part of cadet life, and members of the contingent are encouraged to partake in the numerous activities offered to the CCF.
The summer weather allows cadets to gain further proficiency in activities such as canoeing, body boarding, windsurfing, sailing, orienteering and many others.
